Identify and utilize optimization potentials at machine/chemistry interface
Voith Paper combines its mechanical engineering expertise with chemical process technology. The Chemical Technology Audit is designed to identify hidden optimization potential at the interface of machine and chemistry in the manufacturing process and compile concrete measures to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Downtimes and process fluctuations, paper inhomogenities, foaming, holes, breaks, clothing wear and disproportionate consumption of chemicals and fresh water are often the result of inefficiency at this very interface.
The modular structure of the Voith Chemical Technology Audit means that a tailor-made analysis package can be offered for all customer-specific requirements and situations. The audit includes taking an inventory of the current processes on site. This then determines the type and scope of the measuring program required. The data obtained are analyzed by a team of experts assembled for each specific case. A sensitivity analysis using system software specially developed by Voith for this purpose includes the performance of the equipment currently installed and if required of equipment that could be added to it. This is how existing optimization potential is identified and combined to produce integrated solution strategies.
