In an audit of drives and motors by Voith Paper planned rebuild measures and the limits of the drive system are evaluated. This ensures an authoritative budget and supports the planning process for successful implementation of the overall concept.

The analysis mainly consists of a survey of the current status and suggestions for improving it during the upcoming rebuilds. On-site analyses including recording of typical electrical characteristics (U, I, P, n), detailed evaluation of power requirements and collecting motor, gear, shaft and coupling data. Based on documents provided, the audit is then rounded off by analyses of operating behaviorand an assessment of the performance of the control and operating concept, its interfaces and operator interface.
