Process water from various sources is cleaned at the effluent treatment plant. The aim is to attain set quality parameters in order to meet legal standards. In addition, the preconditions for future-oriented system solutions are created, e.g., closure of the water circuit. The first step of the audit is to record the geometric and technical-technological data and the water qualities of the individual process stages. On this basis, a suitable concept for optimizing the effluent treatment plant is developed, matched to the aims that are to be achieved by the audit.
This future-oriented concept optimally utilizes the existing structure and comprises necessary extensions or expansions of the system, while taking into account the investment and operating costs to be expected. The future condition of the system is also represented by means of a model balance.
