Detailed measurements and investigations are carried out in the stock preparation system on site to determine the condition and operating situations of the system and its components.

The main content of the system analysis is the compilation of a stock-water-ash balance and the technological assessment of the entire process, looking particularly at quality, production volume and residual material volume.

The following tasks can be processed:
• Recording the actual status
• Recording the material flows (volumes, consistencies)
• Inventory of process water system
• Determining the residual material volumes in the individual sub-systems
• Determining selected quality parameters (dirt specks, residues,
  stickies,…)
• Developing a stock-water-ash model balance from the actual status
• Compiling a model balance for the future machine status
• Assessing the capacity of machines installed, and of stock and water
  pumps in terms of planned production volumes


Customer benefits
As a starting point for checking the system a balance is compiled from the actual status and contains as its main data the mass flow, stock consistency, volumetric flow, ash contents and ash mass flow. The degree of detail necessary will be defined by Voith Paper Fiber Systems.

In addition an optimized equipment status balance will be compiled. Various production conditions are calculated. Production bottlenecks expected to occur in the future can be specified in precisely this way. A report is compiled with a set of measures for optimizing the process.
