A modern paper machine concept must meet the following, contradictory requirements:
- It must be innovative so that production is competitive in terms of quality and cost.
- It must be tailored to the requirements in terms of paper grades and process features.
- It must be reliably and proven to ensure the highest possible efficiency and productivity.
On the basis of these requirements, Voith has developed the One Platform Concept. This concept encompasses the entire process – from the fiber to the wrapped paper. For each paper grade a standard concept of a production line was created.
The One Platform Concept concentrates not only on the overall process but above all on the life cycle of the products. It also includes the necessary maintenance work, the rebuild of existing systems and the services for continuous process improvements.
The One Platform Concept permits the supply of complete packages that are precisely matched to the requests and requirements of the individual customer.
