The paper machine is designed for a speed of 3,000 m/min. With a wire width of 1,200 mm, paper webs with a width of 800 mm and basis weights between 26 and 120 g/m2 can be produced.
A big advantage of the new XPM is its modularity. As individual modules are exchanged in only a few days, both existing and innovative, new concepts can be compared exactly with each other under real production conditions. This unique possibility reduces investment risks for new projects and rebuilds and fosters the necessary innovations in the paper industry." |
