At the PTC Voith offers its customers the chance to produce paper under conditions identical to those at their own companies. This makes it easier for paper producers to decide whether to buy a new system or convert the old one.
Voith's technicians and consultants spend a great deal of time with their customers during such test procedures. After a test date is scheduled, preparations begin up to 12 weeks before the test procedure actually starts. Depending on the complexity, the test can take several days. After successful reel production all customer-relevant evaluations are carried out at our in-house laboratory.
At the end customers can take home approximately 200 paper samples and make a key selection from among 2,500 data available online. All data are saved in a database set up especially for the customer. Important process parameters are documented and immediately evaluated, or made available to the customer in a final report for later evaluation.
